Covid-19 Update

Following continued developments and updated guidance from the government and health authorities in UK, we wanted to share an update from Naturveda Uk.

In response to the latest government instructions broadcasted today 9th July 2020, our health clinic locations are now slowly re-opening.  We still need to adhere to the government & health guidelines' rules and regulations, but we are confident we are able to continue providing the high standard service we are proud of while being safe for everyone.

Therefore very shortly we are re-opening the following services:

  • Massage & Other Close Contact Treatments (excluding Indian Head Massage)

We will however be keeping the following services closed until further notice:

  • Corporate Wellness Day events

  • Presential Workshops/Seminars

  • Home Visits

We are still continuing the following services:

  • Online Ayurvedic Consultations & Holistic Counselling Sessions

  • Online Store Purchases (while stocks last)

  • Online Webinars for Workshops/Seminars/Tutoriasls

  • Online Clinics offering support and advice for those wanting to stay connected who are still isolated/shielding/in a local lockdown.

As the situation evolves, we will continue to keep you updated. We will ensure our website/social media/booking system reflects the best available information relating to any necessary changes to our services. For more information on steps you can take to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, please visit the Department of Health & Social Care website.

Please follow our new procedures:

These new procedures are in place as advised by  GOV UK & HEALTH UK.

  • Before you leave your home, please check your temperature, and consider if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms. If yes to any of those questions, please postpone or cancel your appointment.

  • Your pre-session consultation will now take place via our online forms, which need to be completed prior to your visit.

  • There will also be a consent form to complete regarding exposure to Covid-19. If you are considered a high-risk client, it may not be possible to massage you at this time.

  • All consultation & consent forms need to be signed digitally prior to your visit.

  • Please bring your own water – so we do not use any glassware.

  • Please wear easy to remove clothes. You will be given a container in which to put them when you undress. Please avoid wearing jewellery as this makes the process simpler.

  • When you arrive, you will be required to take off your shoes, wash your hands (drying them with paper towels) – and walk into the therapy/treatment room without touching anything.

  • If there are soft furnishings in the practice room, they will be covered by couch roll. Cushions and soft furnishings will have been removed.

  • The massage table will have been thoroughly disinfected. The linens are all clean and changed for every client. You will be encouraged to wear a mask.

  • The therapist will be using personal protective equipment , masks will be worn at all times and gloves as and when deemed necessary. These PPE requirements will change in line with official government guidelines.

  • The massage will continue as per usual, though would recommend not chatting to avoid droplet formation.

  • When the massage is over, please leave all the linens, towels, and mask on the table – unless the mask is yours. Put your clothes back on and exit again without touching anything. You may also wish to use the bathroom and wash your hands before you put your shoes back on.

  • Payment will be made prior to the appointment via our online booking service to avoid touching card machines or money.

  • There will be an approximate 30-minute gap between clients, to enable disinfection of the practice space, therapy table and equipment, hallways and bathrooms etc, with enough time to dry and take effect.
